Warframe Switch Announced at TennoCon; Developed by DOOM & Wolfenstein II Switch Dev Panic Button

Warframe gives players the chance to master the Warframe armor as the enigmatic Tenno, a race of ancient warriors wielding blade and gun, who are awakened from centuries of cryo-sleep by the mysterious guide, Lotus, to restore order throughout the Solar System.

Digital Extremes recently announced a Nintendo Switch version of Warframe, which is being handled by Panic Button.

Free-to-play games still have a questionable reputation amongst some players, but Warframe is one game that everyone praises for its fairness and its vast amount of content. According to Polygon, developer Digital Extremes confirmed at TennoCon that their ever-expanding title will be heading to Nintendo's revolutionary gaming console.

Warframe initially released on PC in 2013, and shortly after on PS4 and Xbox One.

For those unaware, Panic Button has been porting a lot of titles over to the Nintendo Switch lately, with the developer's most recent project being the creation of a Switch version for Bethesda and MachineGames' Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus. It seems now we finally have our answer as to what the mystery game is. If you're planning to play the free-to-play game on Nintendo's latest console, you may want to hold off on starting an account for the time being.
