Principal, teacher and students arrested in a rape case

Bihar 13-Year-Old Girl Alleges She Was Raped by Principal 2 Teachers 15 Schoolmates

Indian police arrest school principal, two teachers in rape of student

When the victim complained to the school principal about the incident, he first convinced and persuaded her not to lodge a complaint as the matter would bring disrepute to her and the family and later along with two teachers raped and blackmailed her, he said.

While four among the 18 accused have been arrested, the police said an operation has been launched to apprehend others named by the victim. "An investigation is underway".

The girl said in her complaint that three students had gang-raped her in the school's toilet in December last, and one of them made a video of the act.

A day after the news of a Class 9 student (who was earlier described as Class 10 student) in Bihar stunned everyone by sharing her ordeal of being gangraped for seven months by fellow students, principal and teachers, cops have arrested six people in connection with the case.

The case is being investigated by Chhapra's Parsagarh police. After making the video these students blackmailed the student.

The girl alleged that the accused sexually assaulted her ever since her father went to jail in December 2017. "Later, he and two other teachers also raped and blackmailed her".

As per media reports, the girl had approached the police after she was raped for the first time but the police officials had refused her to file the complaint in the matter. Despite helping her, the school principal warned the girl to stay silent about it and he too have reportedly raped her in the Office room.

She somehow managed to escape and reached the Ekma police station, around 60km north of Patna. Police say they are searching for the rest of the accused.

However, a few days later, the alleged rapists shared the video with other school friends, the FIR said.

She was taken to a hospital for medical examination. The police have registered a case and have formed special teams to nab the absconding accused.
