Chris Brown had cops waiting for him after his show in Florida on Thursday night (July 5).
Brown was taken into custody Thursday night following his performance at the Coral Sky Amphitheatre.
Law-enforcement authorities arrested Brown on a felony battery warrant from the Hillsborough County Sheriff's office, WPTV said. Chris posted a $2,000 (£1,512) bond and was released, said the spokesman.
Following Brown's arrest, a post shared to the artist's official Instagram account showed a photo of Brown performing on stage which, was captioned, "What's NEW????" along with an eye-roll emoji.
Newsbeat has contacted the singer's representatives for a comment.
In 2014, Chris spent almost three months in jail for violating his probation after allegedly hitting a man in Washington, and had his probation revoked in January 2015 following a poor report which claimed he had a "knack" for finding trouble and had been present at two shootings, but he was not involved in either. Officers, who waited for Brown to finish his set, arrested him immediately after, and escorted him into a cruiser, according to reports.
In 2009, Brown was arrested just before the Grammy Awards on charges of assaulting Rihanna.
