The former Meghan Markle made her first joint appearance with Queen Elizabeth II on Thursday, taking a special royal train to events in northwestern England. She accessorised it with a white and gold clutch from Herrera, Plaisirs de Birks opal-and-gold earrings and rose gold stackable diamond rings from Birks.

During their first solo outing on Thursday in Cheshire, England, Meghan wore a handsome pair of earrings, which she received from Queen as a gift. Royal correspondent Emily Andrews told The Sun that the jewellery was given by the Queen. "It is unclear if they are from her personal collection or bought especially for the Duchess", ENews reported.
It wasn't mentioned when Markle was given the earrings.
The Queen, who is known for her signature bright block colours and matching hats, wore a spring green coat by Stewart Parvin and matching hat by Rachel Trevor Morgan. According to reports, she gifted them the York Cottage, a home in the grounds of Sandringham Estate.

The monarch and her new granddaughter-in-law, who Wednesday the Duke of Sussex less than a month ago, arrived by royal train at Runcorn station to begin the day's engagements before departing by vehicle for the Mersey Gateway Bridge. She was seen alongside the Queen: the duo opened the Mersey Gateway Bridge in Cheshire, opened the Storyhouse Theater in Chester, and attended a lunch at Chester Town Hall.
