In a stream of tweets on Wednesday, Barr defended herself against allegations of racism before praising West's new LP, tiled Ye. That is what my tweet referred to - the anti semitism of the Iran deal.
U.S. comedian Barr came under fire when she compared former White House adviser Valerie Jarrett to the lovechild of the "Muslim Brotherhood and Planet of the Apes".
ABC swiftly canceled Barr's hit show "Roseanne" and slammed the comedienne's comments as "abhorrent, repugnant and inconsistent with our values".
She also accused 87-year-old Jewish billionaire George Soros, who survived the Nazi occupation of Hungary during World War II, of being a Nazi collaborator. "I thought, 'Maybe she don't want to be bothered today.' A week later, we walk by again, and I told Anna - she's Hispanic, but she looks white - she should say hi this time".
Barr initially blamed the sleeping pill Ambien for her Jarrett post.
While Barr looks to be DOA Emmy-wise, there is a chance that TV Academy voters could decide her castmates shouldnt be tarnished in association especially as discussions with ABC execs for a " Roseanne"-less spinoff remain alive and kicking. "I've never practiced "RACISM" in my entire life & never will", Barr wrote.
Barr has insisted she is not racist, and is now believed to be lying low at her parents' home in Utah, where she has been pictured in recent days looking disheveled.
"Roseanne feels so bad about her antics she is trying to figure out a way to help people harmed by the cancellation", a source told the outlet.
"I'm not a racist, I never was & I never will be", she wrote in a separate tweet.
"I have developed a bit of palsy in my head and hands due to the stress I have lived thru-I sleep alot now-without ambien too, thank G0D! goodnight-we are winning! don't give up!"
