Retired NBA star Dennis Rodman has revealed what he thinks about Kim Jong-un and Donald Trump meeting for historic peace talks in Singapore on Tuesday.

In an emotional and sometimes hard-to-follow interview with CNN's Chris Cuomo, Rodman, wearing sunglasses and a "Make America Great Again" hat, said he had received a call from the White House ahead of Trump's historic meeting with Kim - the first between a sitting president and North Korean leader.

The remarks contradicted countless previous declarations by United States political and military officials over the years that the drills are routine, defensive and absolutely critical. Didn't you know all you needed to do was to wait till the Americans elected a clown who would do anything for just a photo op???

Following their summit in Singapore, Trump and Kim pledged to denuclearise the Korean peninsula and work for finding a peaceful resolution to seven decades of hostilities between the two countries.

Trump's statement was portrayed by critics as an unreciprocated concession.

Rodman talked about "falling in love" with the people and culture of North Korea, and described Kim as "a good friend".

Their first moments together were picked apart for any clues about how the political heavyweights would match up.

South Koreans of different age groups expressed mixed feelings about the prospect of peace on the Korean peninsula following the summit between the United States and North Korea.

Beijing has key strategic interests when it comes to North Korea, and has long feared that a collapse of its isolated neighbour could push waves of refugees into northeastern China, or that nuclear war on the Korean peninsula could contaminate swathes of the country.

Trump said he believes that Kim will "immediately" begin dismantling his nuclear complexes when he arrives back in Pyongyang. We will be saving a tremendous amount of money. "Plus, I think it's very provocative". And, of course, Potcoin might hope to see a similar surge in their token price as they did last time they worked with Rodman in relation to North Korea.

From 1950 to 1953 the Korean War waged on.

They said Pakistan supplied vital machinery, drawings and technical advice to North Korea, allowing Pyongyang to enrich uranium as early as 2002.

Last year, that exercise, called Ulchi-Freedom Guardian, involved about 17,500 USA troops and focused heavily on computer-simulated exercises.

There are also annual springtime drills.

Dandong is a little more than 500 miles from Beijing, but sits extremely close to the elusive North Korea.
