Halo Infinite Announced by Microsoft

Microsoft announces ‘Halo Infinite’

E3 2018: Halo Infinite revealed, but what is it?

In Halo Infinite, players won't alternate between playing as the Master Chief and others but instead will continue his saga after the events of Halo 5. You can check out the trailer above!

Microsoft and 343 Industries announced Halo Infinite for Xbox One and Windows 10 during the Microsoft E3 2018 press conference. 343 Studios outright states that the game is still in its early stages and we won't see it out for quite some time. The only creatures we saw throughout the trailer were dinosaur-like creatures who, we assume, naturally inhabited the planet before Master Chief's arrival. Are he and his soldiers stranded there, or are they there on a mission? We need more details!

The trailer description on Youtube confirms what we heard from Microsoft previous year: the next Halo is coming to Windows 10 as well as the Xbox. The lack of a number in the title and the name-drop of a new engine - dubbed "Slipspace" - also suggest this is no ordinary follow-up. We can't wait to see more.
