This episode invited wrath against the makers, the network and Priyanka Chopra over their episode. The plot did not go down well with a lot of Indians and the television series received flak for their unruly storyline.

But after the recent Quantico episode, she has faced online attacks at home, and even some calls to boycott her work and the brands that she endorses.

Priyanka Chopra and ABC's Quantico recently sparked an outrage amongst Indian fans when an episode plot line showed Indian nationalists planning a terror attack in New York City to frame Pakistan. "She has no involvement in the casting of the show or the storylines depicted in the series", it added. The show has featured antagonists of many different ethnicities and backgrounds, but in this case we inadvertently and regrettable stepped into a complex political issue. "It was certainly not our intention to offend anyone", as mentioned in the statement.

ABC said it pulled the episode before it could air in India (it aired in the US on June 1).

The Blood of Romeo synopsis read, "When a physics professor at a major USA university steals weaponized uranium, the team scrambles to find the professor and the missing uranium before it can be used against an important global summit meeting in New York City". But now it seems like trouble is brewing up for her as the season 3 of her American TV show, "Quantico" is on air.

The alleged love affair between our desi girl Priyanka Chopra and singer Nick Jonas is just grabbing every possible limelight, not only in India but across the globe.

Quantico will not be getting a fourth season as the show was cancelled after its now airing the third season. Now the question is, what will Alex Parrish do next?
