According to MMAjunkie, an "online search of inmates at the Clark County (Nev.) Detention Center reveals the UFC veteran no longer is in custody following charges of domestic battery".
Police responded to a call on the 5000 block of Cartaro Drive to investigate a domestic disturbance between a man and a woman at about 7:20 p.m. Thursday, according to Metro spokesman Larry Hadfield. The report states that Diaz, 34, is being held on $18,000 bail, which he can not post until after a court hearing scheduled for Saturday at 9 a.m.
The outlet reports 12 units were dispatched to the scene and the 34-year-old was combative with cops during the arrest. Sherdog.com will have more on this developing situation as more information becomes available.
Nick Diaz's return to UFC may be on hold again indefinitely following his arrest Thursday following allegations of domestic violence.
For now, Diaz remains in custody in Las Vegas until his hearing before a judge on Saturday.
Diaz on Saturday morning was active on Instagram, posting a story video of himself. The site claims that the two have been engaged in an "on-again, off-again sexual relationship" for years.
If it wasn't clear, I've got this guys back if he needs me always and completely.
"I would love to see him fight again". There is no scenario where Nick would put his hands on anyone unless it was necessary self-defense, and then watch the fuck out. She has been obsessed with and stalked Nick for maybe 2 years now. I can't even fully digest this whole thing because of how insane and wrong it is.
"I think he will (fight again)".
