In the latest installment of the popular segment, Maroon 5's Adam Levine joined host James Corden to drive around in a vehicle, singing some of his band's greatest hits like "Moves Like Jagger" and "This Love".
Corden and Levine start laughing as the host makes sure he understood the cop's request: 'You want to pull us over so he can sing a song for you?'
Both Corden and Levine got a kick out of it, with the CBS star telling his guest "this is a real first", then asking, "How are you being so cool about this?" Corden tries to clarify, as he and Levine burst into laughter.
"Yes", the deputy replied, "because you're causing a traffic hazard".
Also in the preview of their upcoming "Carpool Karaoke" session - which is set to debut in full on the talk show on May 24 - the duo could be seen speeding around a race track as James asks Adam a number of quick-fire questions while he's behind the wheel. "I don't know what quite happened there". But the Late Late Show host was "panicked in my core". "We had the absolute honor of being invited to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding". It was so lovely. It was lovely. I have known Prince Harry about seven years now, and it was wonderful'.
"It was one of the most attractive ceremonies I've ever been to". It was gorgeous, it was a whole affair, it was happy, it was joyous, it was uplifting'.
'For a lot of the ceremony, I just needed to sneeze.
To keep from accidentally objecting to Harry and Meghan's union, Corden was forced to hold his sneeze in. See more in the clip above.
