Michael Porter Jr.: 'I'm the best player in this draft'

Michael Porter Jr. Wants To Prove He Deserves To Go 1st Overall

Mo Bamba Measures Insane 7-Foot-10 Wingspan at NBA Combine

Porter, who was a top-rated prospect coming out of high school, says he initially suffered his back injury several years ago and is confident he is now "100 percent" healthy after months of rehab.

"I played against all these guys", Porter Jr. said. All that compensation (for the injury) in the gym just (made it) worse and worse. Here is our full interview with the former Mizzou basketball player. "'[Doctors] said the [injury] site has healed fully", he said. "I just got to keep up with my stretching, my core exercises. I don't have an ego that makes me want to go No. 1".

"MPJ was 6' 10.75" in shoes, while Jontay stood 6' 11.5".

Porter confirmed to Johnson that he hasn't met with the Chicago Bulls, who now hold the No. 7 overall pick, but believes he could work out for them prior to the draft. "I know they've obviously gotten better". Neither of the former Tolton stars scrimmaged, but they both had their measurements taken. That's just how I feel (that I am the best of the class).
