In 2017, the passing percentage for Class 12 was 65.33 and Class 10 students were reportedly 57.50. This year, about 50% of the questions were objective and students were required to mark their answers in an OMR sheet.
A BSEB official also said, "More than 3.5 lakh people are deployed to conduct the examination, but there are more than 8.5 lakh students in one sitting (examinations are being held in two shifts every day, given the number of examinees)". The sheets have now been evaluated and results for Bihar Inter and Matric Exams 2018 would be released soon.
