Square Enix hasn't said exactly how these mini-games will be unlocked during gameplay, although we imagine they won't be too hard to locate. While a lot of them we've seen are based around contemporary Disney properties, like Monsters, Inc. and Toy Story, today we've got a trailer for a far more retro aesthetic kingdom. The trailer shows off the Classic Kingdom in the upcoming RPG, along with a bunch of mini-games that will be playable on a handheld machine Sora can use in-game.
The new Kingdom Hearts 3 trailer was revealed at the Union X Dandelion fan event over the weekend.
Kingdom Hearts 3 has mini-games inspired by 1980's LCD games, such as classic Game & Watch. The upcoming game is now in development for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Seeing that Kingdom Hearts' offerings are largely similar to Final Fantasy, we can assume a similar outcome for the Disney-themed game.
