PUBG Xbox Update: Latest patch aims down stability and performance on console

The popularity of the battle royale genre really skyrocketed with the release of PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG), but it seems like one of its biggest competition, Fortnite, will be overtaking the game in terms of revenue in the coming months.

Until I checked the news.

It seems PUBG Corp. has finally chose to take Fortnite seriously with the release of its own mobile game. In order to remove PUBG Mobile bots from your game nearly permanently, you need to continue to rank up, as you'll find that the problem is only present in the early and low ranks of the game.

News of this new Xbox One PUBG update comes after last week Bluehole announced that the early access Xbox game had crossed 5 million players.

Why Are There Bots In PUBG Mobile?

The news was confirmed by the official PUBG Twitter account on Wednesday morning, with details of when the game would be going offline, how long for and what changes were being made to the game. We'll probably know more about what PUBG has earned on both iOS and Android in the week ahead. However, players will be forced into random matchmaking for the time being and can't connect via a friend list.

Unfortunately, there's no way to determine whether you're fighting a bot with 100% accuracy, but there are some distinguishing characteristics that make it relatively easy to detect when the player you're fighting isn't actually human. A wall of shame has popped up on the PUBG subreddit for those boasting about their fantastic skills shooting robot-controlled fish in a barrel. Understanding the mobile controls can be hard, especially if you've never played PUBG before. If you're desperate to immediately lose a few games against real people while taking a dump at work, hope for a Fortnite Mobile beta code. Even on more powerful platforms, the game still glitches out.

How many PUBG Mobile bots have you slain?
