Fans of Dulquer Salman were on Cloud 9 when the actor shared the first look of his second Bollywood movie, The Zoya Factor, on his social media platforms on Tuesday.
Anuja Chauhan, who is the author of famous novels like "Those Pricey Thakur Girls" and "Battle for Bittora", will be writing the dialogues for the movie. Director Abhishek Sharma recently completed the final draft of the script and will start shooting in August. The will go on floors in Mid-2018 and is expected to release on April 5, 2019. The film will be a romcom woven with an ample dose of cricket.
Director told Mumbai Mirror, "Cricket woven into a rom-com and touching on superstition and luck, it's an awesome book for a screen adaptation". He added that the additional dialogues are being written by Anuja herself. As for Dulquer, he decided he was the ideal fit after he saw the Ok Kanmani trailer.

Karwan, featuring Irrfan Khan and Mithila Palkar, marks his Bollywood debut and is likely to release later this year. While Dulquer's character hails from North originally, the film will portray him as a South Indian guy with remarkable Hindi speaking skills. Co-starring @sonamakapoor, directed by #AbhishekSharma.
According to Abhishek, "I knew immediately that this was the boy we were looking for".
Sonam took to her Twitter handle, saying, "Super happy to be a part of this unique story #ZoyaFactor an adaptation of Anuja Chauhan's bestseller".
