Asus Zenfone 5 Max flaunts Snapdragon 660 on Geekbench

Asus ZenFone 5 Max spotted on Geekbench with 4 GB RAM and Snapdragon 660

Earlier last week, ASUS Malaysia had announced the availability of its Android Oreo update for the ZenFone 3 (ZE520KL and ZE552KL) and ZenFone 4 (ZE554KL). If you haven't received any notifications yet, you may check manually under Settings About System Update. The release of Oreo for ZenFone 4 Pro shows that the Taiwanese company is making good progress as far as updating ZenFone 4 and ZenFone 3 series to Oreo is concerned. It brings a number of improvements in power consumption, a long screenshot function, and substituting Cast function for PlayTo function.

Android 8.0 Oreo updates are being released left and right by OEMs and carriers. Unfortunately, there is no info yet on whether or not the update comes with the latest Android security patch.

As far as the latest device is concerned, this will be named as the Asus Zenfone 5 Max which is the successor to the Asus Zenfone 4 Max which was announced by the company past year.

This operating system is renowned for being equipped with hundreds of cool features and a sleek UI (User interface) layout that will make Zenfone 5 Max's user experience wonderful.

Although the ZenFone 4 Pro was announced back in August this year, it isn't yet available in the Indian market. Since the ZenFone 4 Pro isn't comparable to the latest flagship handsets in terms of hardware specs, we expect it to be priced under the Rs.40,000 mark in India.

At MWC 2018, Asus has unveiled its several up to date devices including the Zenfone 5, Zenfone 5Z and the Zenfone 5 Lite.
