The expansion's launch trailer's worth a watch if you want to get hyped for the imminent release, complete with sinister music and a brief look at the big baddies that you'll be going up against. Bayek continues his journey as he travels to the ancient capital city of Thebes to investigate a curse that's plaguing the lands.
The Curse of the Pharaohs presents a new story set four years after the events of Assassin's Creed Origins. But if you prefer undead mummies, Anubis-esque guards, giant scorpions and shed loads of bloody murder, I reckon The Curse of the Pharaohs DLC is more your groove. The Hidden Ones first raised the cap to 45 while The Curse of the Pharaohs increases it to 55. Finally, Favor of Osiris rewards you for spending time in the afterlife by gradually refilling Bayek's tools and arrows while he's there.
In the meantime, you can check out some of the gameplay ahead of tomorrow's launch. Players can also acquire new outfits and gear themed around classic Egyptian mythology. Non-Season Pass holders will still be able to purchase the DLC separately.
Assassin's Creed Origins: The Curse of the Pharaohs is out March 13 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
