The Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3 2018) this year will be where we finally get treated to a new Cyberpunk 2077 trailer as well as a playable demo, or at least that is what has been heard through the grapevine. Now that the dust has settled on The Witcher 3 and it's DLC's - not to mention a plethora of patches and 4K updates - it would serve CD Projekt Red well to unveil their next big game.
"We are known for storytelling, and big game worlds and so we're taking all what we've learnt from previous three Witcher games, as well as the open-world aspect, and applying it to Cyberpunk 2077". The company is expected to show the public a trailer and present a playable demo behind closed doors at the show. With any luck, we'll have a look at the story and game play after E3 this summer.
We have no reason to doubt - nor believe - the credibility of the rumour. Historically, the conferences from Microsoft and Sony - the most likely spots for Cyberpunk to appear - occur on Sunday and Monday respectively.
Cyberpunk 2077 has been a long time coming, having originally been announced way back in 2012. That's not all, as CD Projekt RED also went through the verification process of Twitter so that this account has the icon that certifies it as official.
