Assassin's Creed Origins DLC release dates have revealed themselves

Assassin's Creed Origins 1.2.0 update: HUGE new patch launches with DLC release date

First DLC for Assassin's Creed Origins Coming Later This Month

Following The Hidden Ones in February will be the release of the Discovery Tour, an educational mode that will allow players to explore Ancient Egypt without any of the game's conflicts or missions. If you don't have a season's pass for Assassin's Creed Origins, you can buy the DLC separately for $9.99 on January 23, 2018. On older Xbox One and PlayStation 4 consoles Assassin's Creed Rogue Remastered will run at 1080p. Will you be checking out Bayek's DLC adventures?

Recognized for having some of the richest, most engrossing storytelling in the industry, Assassin's Creed games have sold more than 105 million units worldwide, and the franchise is now established as one of the best-selling series ever. This focuses on Egyptian mythology, the press release says, and increases the level cap to 55, as well as adding a whole bunch of new outfits, weaponry, and other gear. As is the case with The Hidden Ones, this DLC will also be available to all season pass owners, but can also be purchased separately for $19.99. As the name implies, the new mode is aimed as a tool to be utilized by those hoping to make your video game more of a learning experience.

You didn't think you'd get all the way through a western-developed game about ancient Egypt without fighting some mummies, did you? Coupled with this new freedom, you'll find a series of fascinating narrated guided tours marked on the map, curated by historians and Egyptologists.

The first quest in the expansion, Incoming Threat, will be available to all players but it's not clear yet whether it takes place in the existing regions or the two new areas.

If you're playing Assassin's Creed Origins and have managed to find numerous game's gear and weapons, yet still crave more, then Ubisoft has something for you.

Players will take on iconic pharaohs of the past as well as Egyptian beasts. The Curse of the Pharaohs will be released on 6th March.

In addition to being a free update, "Discovery Tour" will be available as a standalone purchase through Uplay and Steam for those who don't own Assassin's Creed Origins.
