The Big Brother star's account had previously tweeted saying that the Brazilian woman had died "unexpectedly" and asked people to respect her family's privacy.
'Please stop spreading this news that I am dead because I am obviously not, ' she said in her hotel room. My lawyer is already working on this and this person who wants to spoil my happiness is going to pay for it!'
"This person can't accept the fact that I am happy, that I overcame all my problems. I'm on holiday... and I am not dead".
Big Brother commented: 'So sad to hear that Rebekah Shelton... has passed away aged just 32.
She said: "I'm not dead!".
"I lost friends, it divided my family and I had to undergo 16 surgeries". And she achieved so much through her transition", while a third wrote, "Oh no.
"We're sorry to inform everyone of the sad news that our wonderful and lovely Rebekah died unexpectedly on Wednesday night", the tweet read.
Rebekah went on to say that she is now on holidays.
In 2014, Shelton also recovered after she fell into a coma following the discovery of a brain tumour which was later removed.
She told Judge Rinder: "I was born in Rodrigo".
Of being abandoned after undergoing surgery, she said: "I wanted to kill myself, it was a nightmare". I'm not sure what I would do if I could go back in time'.
Last year, she said she was struggling to cope because she felt so isolated after turning to prostitution. "We haven't spoken for six months because I've made a decision to leave, but that was the turning point".
"I saw that frightful thing between my legs and I started crying around the hospital saying, 'I regret, I regret.' I wanted to kill myself because it was a nightmare". "It's different when you are having fun with your friends in the clubs, to changing your whole life and facing the rejection or acceptance of the world".
