Jack Wilshere could play against his former club as Arsenal travel to Bournemouth on Super Sunday.

The Gunners are without a win in their last four games and are lacking in confidence following a humiliating FA Cup defeat at Championship side Nottingham Forest.

Wenger confirmed the club have reopened negotiations with Ozil, saying: 'We are still talking and there is still an opportunity for him to stay.

Wenger said that "all the other players will still be out for Bournemouth", which means that Olivier Giroud is still "two weeks away", Laurent Koscielny will be back "next week", as will Nacho Monreal and Sead Kolasinac, although the Bosnian left-back has "a little, little chance" to feature this weekend.

Both Ozil and Sanchez are out of contract at the end of the season, with the Chilean expected to join either Manchester City or Manchester United.

Antonio Conte's men are now in third place in the Premier League table and 15 points behind leaders Manchester City after 22 games of the new campaign.

He added: "My contract clarifies that [he will still be in charge next season]".

Arsenal have conceded four penalty goals in their last three games in all competitions.

Arsene Wenger has insisted he will not leave Arsenal this summer, as his optimism grows over keeping Mesut Ozil.

Wilshere looked set for a spell on the sidelines after spraining his ankle during our 0-0 draw with Chelsea in the first leg of our Carabao Cup semi final at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night. "I think they'll do really well to finish sixth".

"Last season I was on the bench but remember it being a really good game, we were 3-0 down and had to come back", Holding told Arsenal's official website.
