After a combined 11 seasons of cleaning up other people's messes, Olivia Pope and Annalise Keating will finally join forces in a Scandal and How to Get Away With Murder crossover episode, Deadline reports.
There is now no air date for the episodes.
Scandal and How to Get Away With Murder have a lot in common.
While we don't know when this crossover will air, ABC revealed that the episode was written by Morenike Balogun and Sarah L.Thompson and directed by Zetna Fuentes.
The crossover will begin on a new episode of "Scandal" and conclude on the episode of "How to Get Away with Murder" immediately after.
Are you looking forward to seeing ABC's first major TGIT crossover event? This spot look familiar?!
Scandal is now in the middle of its final series. SEVERAL cases. I can't decide if Olivia and Annalise would love each other, or absolutely hate each other.
Kerry also shared a snap from the first table read for the episode and managed to sneak in a selfie with Viola for good measure.
Reps for ABC and the series' producers ABC Studios and Shonda Rhimes' Shondaland would not comment, but Scandal star Kerry Washington just posted a photo of herself as her character Olivia Pope on the set of HTGAWM (see below).
To make things even better, Rhimes put all of her fans at ease by tweeting out a page of the script for this crossover event, proving that it is, in fact, in the works.
"I'll never say never because you can't, but I never think there will be a crossover", he stated. Meanwhile, "How to Get Away With Murder" returns for season 4 on the same day at 10 P.M.
