By the time you're done unwrapping your shiny new Carson Wentz jersey, it'll nearly be time for Sixers-Knicks.
Before we get underway, here's who won't be suiting up for the Raiders this evening.
The weekly over/unders are no exception.
"I think it's important that they spend time with their families Christmas morning, so I'm giving them an opportunity", Pederson said.
That's the line now being offered by Bovada and, if we're being honest, it feels a little low. The team's been preparing all week to face the Eagles stable of running backs and veteran quarterback Nick Foles. Despite this, Pederson kept his group focused and ended up leading the Eagles to wins in their first three games of the season. In recent weeks, that hasn't been the case. Yet I don't think the Raiders will be all that interested and I have Philly winning relatively comfortably. Let's do the impossible and upset the Eagles on the road on Christmas. Earlier this week, Jim Schwartz said his defense is at its best when it is keeping the opposition out of the end zone. "You do the best you can each week and we'll add them up at the end". You don't get them back. The Raiders are going into the game with little depth on their offensive line after placing LT Donald Penn and reserve guard/center Jon Feliciano on injured reserve. But after the way they've been playing recently, I think Eagles fans will settle for two. While he's thrown twice as many touchdown passes (20) as interceptions this season (10), he comes off a year in which he threw for 28 scores and been picked off only six times. The good news is, he shouldn't need to, especially if the defense does its job. The Eagles want to waist for Wisniewski to get completely healthy before returning him to the lineup; they don't want an injury to linger into the playoffs.
Sorry, but no record-setting performance from St. Nick this time around.
Here are the inactive players for the Raiders in Week 16's game versus the Eagles.
The Raiders, however, do have players like that.
Wisniewski injured his ankle on December 10 against the Los Angeles Rams.
We already know for a fact that ESPN is planning on bringing this up at least once and, honestly, I'm not sure there's any number I could've set this at where I would've taken the under.
