Soulcalibur VI Announced And Its Coming In 2018

With Soul Calibur VI freshly announced at The Game Awards 2017, fans are preparing to once more let their souls ignite in combat and let their weapons speak for them. Perhaps a gear system similar to Injustice 2? Utilizing the lessons I learned on Tekken 7, I'm ready to fully take charge of a new project.

The series first released back in 1998 on the arcade before being ported over to the Dreamcast.

A short trailer was shown and the graphics have been built on Unreal Engine 4. Soulcalibur V didn't receive the same acclaim as earlier games in the seires, and many fans anxious about the future of the franchise. However, the game has been officially revealed as a sequel, not a reboot or remake, so it's unclear how she will appear in the title.

The most recent entry in the mainline series, Soulcalibur 5, was released for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2012.
