Check out the reveal trailer for the Indy-style exploring game below, featuring a somewhat out of place soundtrack.
The Game Awards 2017 are underway tonight.
It's a single-player adventure game about seeking treasure in an ancient valley.
We're now developing the game for Windows, Mac, and Linux, with any potential future platforms yet to be determined.
One thing is for certain: the game looks incredible, with Campo Santo looking to out do the already impressive visuals from Firewatch in its next tile. For now, we have the name, the announcement trailer, and a 2019 release window.
"In the Valley of Gods" isn't a direct sequel to "Firewatch", but it's a bit of a spiritual successor. Like before, it's a first-person perspective with some exploration going on. The developer did not rule out other platforms, such as consoles, but Campo Santo is scheduling to release the game sometime in 2019.
