Eve Officially Joins 'The Talk' on CBS

'The Talk' Names Eve the Daytime Show's Newest Co-Host — Get the Details!

Meet the newest host of the CBS daytime talk show! "We're going to talk about it here".

Eve steps into the permanent role following the departure of Aisha Tyler, who made the decision to leave at the end of last season to focus on her other television and film projects, including CBS' "Criminal Minds". The Grammy victor is best known for her hit "Let Me Blow Ya Mind", a duet with Gwen Stefani, her TV sitcom "Eve" and appearances in the "Barbershop" films. "I feel like the first day of school". She was a guest co-host on the chat show for the week of October 30. My face hurts from smiling.

"The women were thrilled when they heard Eve would be joining the show and can't wait to start talking and engaging her in the conversation", CBS exec Angelica McDaniel, who oversees daytime programming at the network, tells Variety. "Thank you so much for having me".

As detailed by a video compilation shared on The Talk, Eve brings with her years of experience in the music and entertainment industry. The rapper has been married to Maximillion Copper since 2014 and she is a stepmother to his four children. However, saying goodbye proved hard for Tyler, who viewed her fellow co-hosts as family. Eve joins Julie Chen, Sharon Osbourne, Sara Gilbert, and Sheryl Underwood at the co-hosts table.

Though the 39-year-old Pennsylvania native now resides in London with her husband, British entrepreneur Maximillion Copper, and her four stepchildren, the decision to join the Daytime Emmy Award-winning talk show was simple.
