Justice League stars Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Connie Nielsen as Queen Hippolyta, and J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon.
Before attending the world premiere of Warner Bros.' Justice League, star Ben Affleck went on Jimmy Kimmel Live to debut another superhero property: "The Terrific Ten".
Affleck, who plays Batman in the DCEU, recently opened up about growing up as a child actor with Damon on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and he revealed that both of them auditioned to play Robin in Tim Burton's 1989 adaptation of Batman.
Abrams had Kimmel run down the various superheroes, which included Muscle Man, Super Duck, and Color Kid. "So I was able to start this really, really exciting superhero project that's my next thing, and it's awesome".
Naturally, Kimmel's nemesis, Matt Damon, portrayed the villain Dr. Bolt along with Wanda Sykes as his sidekick, The Bleach Master.
But the blushing, guffawing Kimmel definitely seemed to appreciate it.
"It demanded to be brought to life", Abrams told Kimmel before the trailer screened. It emerged on his show that as a prepubescent kid, he wrote a comic called The Terrific Ten. Sure, you'll probably say to us, "Robin wasn't in that movie", and, technically, you'd be right, but the original plan was to include an origin story for the Boy Wonder. "And you know why? We were created by a weird, sad kid, who grew to become a weird, fat man. F**k Kimmel!"
"Wow. That was the best gift I ever got".
