Affleck will be seen once again as Batman alongside Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman), Jason Momoa (Aquaman), Ezra Miller (The Flash), Ray Fisher (Cyborg) and Henry Cavill (Superman) in ensemble superhero movie Justice League which hits theaters in just a few days.
With that in mind, Justice League's second (and downright hilarious) post-credits scene has surfaced online, and it's much more in line with Joss Whedon's directorial style - think of the zippy dialogue between Earth's Mightiest Heroes in the original Avengers - than the one featuring a certain masked vigilante. "Can you get it?' And I said, 'Ya know, I have some connections.' And then he told me who he wanted to be".
"I wasn't laughing", Cavill chimes in. To say that there's a lot riding on this film would be an understatement. I hope he decides to stay on as Batman, the DC universe is already unstable and a change in actor isn't something it needs. But also as a couple, we live and breathe these movies. "And everyone watching this movie is going to identify with the "at the between" characters and the similarities between characters as well". Let's discuss in the comment section below!
Deborah Snyder says Justice League 2 "would be amazing" but DC's lineup is already plenty busy.
Justice League is set to release on 17 November.
The 45-year-old actor has starred as The Caped Crusader in two films so far - Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and the upcoming Justice League, but he also cameoed in both Suicide Squad and Wonder Woman - but admitted he doesn't know what the future holds for his character.
"You don't do it forever, so I want to find a graceful and cool way to segue out of it", he said. 'We certainly are in need of heroes in 2017.
Adds Gadot: "People planned on making this movie 10 years ago, and even 20 years ago, and it just never happened".
