Rumors started swirling prior to the start of the Playoffs week on The Voice: Coach Blake Shelton was expected to grace the cover of the magazine's annual issue when it hits newsstands on November 15, bearing its ultimate male honor of "Sexiest Man Alive".
Somewhere out there, Adam Levine is either crying or laughing hysterically.
Blake Shelton was named Sexiest Man Alive by People magazine, a first for any country singer, prompting The Voice judge to shake off his shyness about his looks.
"It could be 2 o'clock in the afternoon before I eat and then I realize I'm starving, so then it's a bag of Cheetos".
"Well wow, they got that right", she told the show. And then I'm not hungry again until 10 o'clock, well what's in there? "It is really bad", Shelton admitted.
However, the best part about the new title?
"When [people] would say to Adam, 'Mr. If I can be sexy for a year, I'm taking it!" joked the singer, who appears in the special issue with dozens of other Hollywood hotties, including the stars of "This Is Us", who nabbed Sexiest Cast honors.
"I've been ugly my whole life", Shelton, 41, said in a statement on Tuesday.
Lookin' good on that cover, Blake.
Shelton's favorite thing about winning the Sexiest Man Alive title?
Fans can catch "Mr".
