College Football Player Punches Out Coach On The Sideline

TSU Football Player Expelled After Violent Incident During Game

Tennessee State Football Player Punches Coach On The Sideline, Gets Kicked off Team (VIDEO)

The Tennessee State defensive end got himself kicked off the team and expelled from school when cameras showed him hitting Tigers head strength coach T.J. Greenstone twice in the head and knocked him to the turf on the sideline.

Before the getting duffed in the face, Greenstone told Lee to back away from the sideline. The strength coach had apparently just completed one such sideline sweep when he was punched.

"Tennessee State has removed a student-athlete for an incident which occurred during the football team's game versus Southeast Missouri State in Hale Stadium", according to a university statement released to McClatchy.

The Tennessean reported that Greenstone, a former Vanderbilt football player, was scheduled to meet with campus police on Tuesday to discuss the incident.

On Monday morning, he was expelled from school.

Lee was a part-time starter over the past two seasons. He made the Ohio Valley Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll in 2016.

The Dothan, Alabama, native appeared in a total of 27 games in his first three seasons at Tennessee State, totaling seven sacks during that time. The Tigers later won, 23-20, on a last-ditch field goal.
