While other trailers have showed us what's changed around Alola, this one invites us to jump through the "Ultra Wormhole" and explore distant worlds. Some of these warp holes even lead to the home worlds of the Ultra Beasts.
This Ultra Beast is a collection of many life-forms.
The Ultra Wormholes are reminiscent of Gummi Ship stages in Kingdom Hearts somewhat, with players guiding Legendary Pokémon through obstacles to reach the wormhole exit. While the new English trailer for the games seemed to focus more on the new games' Ultra Beasts, as well as the new area Ultra Megalopolis in Ultra Space and the new team The Ultra Recon Squad, the recently uploaded Japanese trailer takes a different approach. The Ultra Recon Squad members that are featured prominently in the story will depend on whether trainers are playing Ultra Sun or Ultra Moon.
The trailer gives us a glimpse of some of the new scenes included in the alternate story, as well as another look at the Ultra Beasts that players were able to capture and tame at the end of the original Sun and Moon games.
The trailer also introduced three new Ultra Beasts, each with weird designs and a new move to boot.
There will be a whole lot more to discover in Pokémon Ultra Sun and Moon when both games release on Nintendo 3DS this November 17.
Three new Ultra Beasts will appear in the new games. Don't forget to stop by Target before October 14 for a special Charizard code, and keep an eye on our Event Pokemon page to make sure you don't miss any of the other special event giveaways.
