Gemma also co-hosts Key 103's Breakfast Show.

Speaking about her upcoming appearance on the show, Gemma, 32, said: "I am honoured to be asked and so thrilled to be joining Strictly Come Dancing 2017!"

Gemma Atkinson has been revealed as the fourth contestant in the line-up for this year's Strictly Come Dancing.

Gemma is best known for her four-year stint in 'Hollyoaks', playing Lisa Hunter, and last year joined 'Emmerdale' in the role of Carly Hope, which bagged her a nomination for Best Newcomer at the British Soap Awards.

"I'm looking forward to just learning to dance as it's out of my comfort zone. I can finally say 'I'm doing it, I'm sorry for lying!'"

The telly babe's Strictly bombshell broke on BBC Breakfast this morning by Naga Munchetty and Charlie Stays and viewers are already pumped to have Gemma back on their screens. Even wearing heels for me is a big thing.

"After a few drinks I think I'm Britney Spears but I'm not at all!"

Alongside Atkinson will be pop star Mollie King, EastEnders actor Davood Ghadami and TV presenter Ruth Langsford.
