Meizu A5: A budget phone with 2GB RAM, 8MP camera and 3060 mAh battery

As far as processor and RAM is concerned, Meizu A5 handles multitasking with 2GB of RAM and the smartphone has a quad-core MediaTek MT6737 CPU to take care of processing part.

With the modest price tag, Meizu has offered a 5-inch HD display alongside 1280 x 720 resolution with PPI of 294. There's a 2GB of RAM module, coupled with a Mali-T720 GPU for handling the graphic intensive tasks.

Weighing over 140 grams in 144X70.5X8.3 mm dimensions with a 5-inch display and 3060 mAh battery, Meizu A5 seems to fall in the mid-range category of smartphones.

Meizu A5 is priced at CNY 699 ($103) and comes in Black, Gold, and Silver colors. The phone packs 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card. The phone has a metal unibody for a tougher look. On the connectivity front, the smartphone offers 4G/LTE along with VoLTE, WiFi (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac), micro-USB port, Bluetooth 4.1, and GPS/A-GPS. However, you can't ask much for the asking price. The smartphone flaunts an 8-megapixel camera in the rear with LED flash light, f/2.0 aperture and a 5-megapixel snapper on the front panel with f/2.2 aperture. The phone runs on Android with Flyme OS.

On the imaging department, Meizu has endowed the phone with an 8MP primary camera at the back and a 5MP selfie shooter. A 3060mAh battery is on board for all the battery requirements.
