Real Madrid want Kylian Mbappe and Gianluigi Donnarumma, says president Florentino Perez

Spanish rivals Barcelona and Real Madrid hardly conduct direct transfers, a situation that worsened after the messy switch of Luis Figo in 2000.

Real Madrid President, Florentino Perez has suggested that his club are more interested in Gianluigi Donnarumma, than David De Gea, who has been linked with the club in the past.

United are however still hoping to do a deal for Morata.

As a result, the 12-time European Champions made a decision to sign Gareth Bale from Tottenham for a then world-record transfer fee of £86m.

Either way, Marca believes that Real Madrid shouldn't have many problems closing a record deal with Monaco once the player has made it clear that he wants to move to the Bernabeu.

Ronaldo is threatening to leave Spain after running into problems with tax authorities. "I know he is 18, a very good player, but for the moment he is a Monaco player".

He wanted to join Madrid then, but Fergie wanted the Portuguese to play his part in clinching a third straight Premier League title-which they did-and attempting to retain the Champions League crown.

The team also won the La Liga for the first time in four years.

Barcelona have benefitted from the world-class ability of Messi ever since. They had a magnificent season.

"Zidane saw him when he was 16 years old". He told reporters he was "sad" after Madrid's 2012 league triumph, after falling out with manager Jose Mourinho-coincidentally now in charge of United-and he has repeatedly bemoaned the fact that Madrid fans boo him.

Donnarumma is widely seen as one of the standout young goalkeepers in world football but the 18-year-old's club future is in some doubt after he decided not to sign a new contract at Milan, with just over a year remaining on his current deal. "There is no turning back".
