Sony unveils new 'Spider-man' game at E3 expo

Condrey's answer should come as no surprise, as the PS4 Pro's graphical power should all but ensure that it offers a higher resolution experience for a new AAA game than the base PS4.

The Xbox One X, dubbed the world's most powerful games console, was unveiled by Microsoft on Sunday.

A glimpse at the sequel to Uncharted 4: A Thief's End displayed some of the series' highlight set pieces and puzzles. This time it seems that they are behind an ancient treasure in India, probably the Ganesha's tusk.

Simply called Marvel Spider-Man, the PlayStation 4 exclusive game will be released in 2018.

The new game-play footage lasted around 10 minutes and showed off a variety of elements to the game.

Along with strong hardware sales, the PlayStation 4 has enjoyed a phenomenal software attach rate throughout its lifetime.

No word yet on a release date outside of a vague 2018 window.

Sony did not leave out demonstrating the inclusion of virtual reality (VR) in some of the games played on PlayStation. This could be a differentiating factor of the Japanese giant's VR efforts as compared to its competitors. The said game title, whose trailer is attached below, shows that Kratos (shown underneath) matures as a character and brings along his son - Atreus - for this gory adventure. Sony's line-up for late 2017 suddenly looks a little threadbare, with an Uncharted game that's a standalone expansion and the long-delayed GT Sport leading the way. We've already seen huge announcements from Bethesda, EA, Microsoft and Ubisoft. closing out a tidal wave of newsworthy announcements from an assortment of game developers and publishers. It looks just as unbelievable as the best games on the system.

Hence, with that fans can only imagine is going to be the E3 2017 press conference with the biggest number of new games and even greater than the 42 shown by Xbox last night.
