We've been covering Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 since 2014's Comic-Con, when the sequel was announced, and it's great to be able to finally discuss, dissect, and debate the actual film as opposed to trying to gleam insight from trailers, teasers, and clips.

The only film selling tickets globally at even roughly the same pace as "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" was the South Indian sequel "Baahubali 2: The Conclusion".
This marks the 15th release by Marvel Studios.
Gunn has already said in a Facebook post that he'll stick with the "Guardians" for Vol. 3, and he's also an executive producer on "Avengers: Infinity War", which features some Guardians.
